Meet Dr. Dean McKay
Dean McKay, PhD, ABPP, is Professor of Psychology at Fordham University, Past President (2018) of the Society for a Science of Clinical Psychology (SSCP), and Past-President (2013-2014) of the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (ABCT). He has edited or co-edited 23 books and published over 375 journal articles and book chapters. Dr. McKay is a licensed psychologist in NY, CT, and MA, and is board certified from the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) in both Cognitive-Behavioral and Clinical Psychology. His expertise is in anxiety disorders and obsessive-compulsive disorder, the role of disgust in psychopathology, as well as professional issues in the delivery of science-based psychological interventions. Most recently his work has shifted to focus on the challenge of antisemitism in the medical and mental health systems.
